Meet Elizabeth
I am a public health professional working to make a difference for people living in low and middle income countries, specializing in non-communicable diseases, drug prevention and treatment and mental health. I advocate for children and adolescents living and working on the street to receive the full spectrum of substance use prevention and substance use treatment based on science.
And my career has been built around the link between health, education and professional development. Building an environment for change is essential and must include effective communication, meaningful engagement and a value structure based on integrity.
A Balanced Approach
Within the last 10 years I have traveled to over 75 countries to encourage decision makers to take a balanced health perspective when creating and implementing national drug policies. I worked tirelessly to help the over 85% of countries that do not have essential controlled medicines available for their patients to address the barriers to access, availability and affordability of these essential pain medications. And I want to build off of these experiences to provide you with the best informed and empathetic consulting you deserve.
